The second hearing of the Proposed UK Environmental Protection Bill is due to take place on the 12th May 2017. The House of Commons will debate the proposal to safeguard protection measures for the UK. These are currently enshrined in EU legislation and the proposal seeks to bring them into UK law before the exit from the EU. This would cover water, air, soil, flood protection and climate change.
